Blessed

A few weeks ago we had a fun packed weekend. 1-800 Contacts has a fun company party every year at Thanksgiving Point. It's like the Scarecrow Festival which I've blogged about before. Lots of bouncy houses and slides, rock climbing, swimming, laser tag, food, treats, crafts and all that. Unfortunately, it poured on us and Tanner was such a pill we were ready to leave him there by the end of the evening. But, we are grateful for the awesome party the company put on and we're looking forward to it again next year! I think as far as going out in public with our kids things are just going to get easier from this point.

We had Camryn's blessing on Sunday which is always a fun event. She cried for the first minute of her blessing and I was wondering whose baby was crying so loudly. It took me a few seconds to realize it was mine. And then she suddenly stopped for no reason at all. Josh gave her a beautiful blessing. And she looked beautiful and I have to brag for a minute because I MADE her dress!
I've always thought it would be fun to make a blessing dress for one of my girls and this is probably my last chance. I don't know if I'd actually describe it as fun. My mom had to hold my hand through the difficult part and it involved a LOT of unpicking, but in the end I think it turned out beautiful and I'm glad I did it. I didn't take any pictures on big day, but thankfully my mom did. We're not usually the party hosts in the family, but we really loved having everyone over.
It was such a beautiful day and the weather was perfect, so that evening we went on a walk around the lake at Daybreak. I love where we live. We are close to so many pretty places.

That really is a beautiful dress and Camryn looks sooo sweet in that picture! I also like how you said this "may" be your last chance to make a blessing dress :)

Paisley has the same swimsuit as Natalie. And the blessing dress turned out beautiful. I made Paisley's Easter dress last year and it about killed me. I'm not much of a seamstress. You are though.
